☀️ Sunny days are back in Downtown! Granville Island and Stanley Park are always good options to hang around too. But is that all? NO!
What is the Fever app?
Fever AKA (also known as) FeverUp is a website and app that helps you track the events that are going on around the city. It does not matter if you are on Granville Island, Stanley Park, or if you just arrived at Vancouver International Airport. With this app, you are going to be able to book any ticket at any time in British Columbia. As we said, FeverUp was created to discover the best events in your city, where to go, and what to visit. You can find exclusive events taking place in fancy spots, secret places, and trendy venues where you can enjoy new experiences. Fever has tickets in major cities all over the world for “things to do and see,” including museums, zoos, film screenings, escape rooms, and more. Normally, the prices sit between $15-30, while others increase to $100. 💰
❄️Grouse Mountain was also on the list a few weeks ago, unfortunately for some of us, winter is over and with not that much snow it is hard to go there and ski. But who knows, maybe there will be something related to mountain biking in the coming weeks.
Some of the current Top seller events are:
🔝Vancouver Aquarium 🔝Vancouver Art Gallery 🔝Capilano Suspension Bridge park
We suggest using this app because Downtown Vancouver is not the only place we want you to spend all summer at. You can go to North Vancouver, even metro Vancouver, but if you do not have a plan, it will be hard to enjoy these coming sunny days.
The thing we liked the most about Fever is that it gives you all the information you need to know about the upcoming event: what the ticket includes, some of the highlights you are going to experience, general information (hours and open days), a brief description of the place, and its location.📍
Fever’s Pros and Cons
Pros ✅ They have different categories, like theatre, concerts, sports, and games. ✅ Extremely easy to use.
✅ The app is legit and safe.
Cons
❌ Events are repeated in multiple categories ❌ They could add more activities and games or talk more about different places like Vancouver Island, English Bay, Kitsilano, Granville Street, or in general British Columbia.
Benefits of Using the App
This app has a loyalty program for Vancouver called "Fever Club", and it includes nice perks!!! 🤩 With each purchase you receive cashback of up to 20%, depending on your loyalty level (Bronze, Silver, or Gold). Rewards will be shown on your virtual wallet and can be used at any moment for other purchases.
Another benefit is the welcome voucher that you can send to friends. Every friend that you invite can get $11 to spend on an experience. Once they buy one, you will get your $11 too!
Finally, you can join the waitlist tickets to save your spot for an event you are really interested in.
Thrivve suggestions
📅 Double-check before buying the tickets, make sure the dates and sessions you book are the correct ones. 🌇 Downtown gets really busy on weekends, take precautions, and leave your house with more time than usual. 🚗 The bridge between North Vancouver and Stanley Park is extremely slow with traffic. 🙊 Invite some friends, it is always nice to have more adventures with them and in the future, you can talk about all the places you went to! 🗺 If you are using the maps, make sure you do not walk in the opposite direction. 😂
Thrivvers, join our Slack community to let us know what you think about the app or if you have already gone to these events. We would love to hear about your experience.
