Make sure you have the $$$ for it:
You will need enough money for your Tuition Fee + $1,000 CAD per month if you plan to stay in Canada. This usually rounds up to no less than $18,000 CAD per year *.
Pick the right school for you: 🎒
You can choose between any higher education program at a public school or any private school with Co-Op programs (these programs are specially made for International Students, and they allow you to Work & Study).
Check the program entry requirements:📝
Make sure you comply with the program entry requirements. These usually ask students to have a certain level of studies. For example, a Highschool Diploma and a minimum level of English. Usually an IELTS 6, at least.
Get an LOA: 📨
As soon as you have all the previous steps, contact the school of your choice and ask about the enrollment process. Once you complete all the documentation and requirements, you will be eligible to get a Letter of Acceptance (LOA).
Gather your Documents: 📃
Now it’s time to gather all the documentation you need for applying for a Study Permit:
- Proof of acceptance (Your LOA)
- Proof of identity (Passport and Pictures)
- Proof of financial support (Bank statements)
Depending on where you are from:
- Biometrics
